David W. Ferrie’s olographic last will. Ferrie names Alvin R. Beaubouef as the executor of his estate and his sole heir. He also requests that his brother, Parmely T. Ferrie of Rockford, Illinois, and Bishop George Hyde of Elbereton, GA, be notified upon his death. George Augustine Hyde, who corresponded with Ferrie during his battle with Eastern Airlines, presided over the first openly gay congregation in the United States, Atlanta’s Eucharistic Catholic Church.
